Awakened at 3:45 am to head to Masada and up the snake path. This was so much easier when I was 20, and even at 31. 20 years later, well, not so much. But watching the sunrise was perfect.
Ariana says I'm cheesy but listening to the story, I couldn't resist being impressed with the resilience of the Jews and their standing up for their beliefs and resolve to avoid becoming property of the Romans.

We woke up to go climb Masada
We learned about the Jews and their armada
The Jews with their might
Put on a courageous fight
And the Romans turned and headed to water
