Random Scenes, Rhymes and Farewell

If this is your first time reading, the Dinberg and Gorwitz families went to Israel for Ariana and Gabrielle's bat mitzvah's.  What a great trip!  The blog started off with a bit more commentary, but by the end, Carolyn and Jeff just wrote some rhyming paragraphs to capture the moments.  This page gathered random pix and put them together--start from the beginning to get a real flavor of the trip!

*****

Our family trip came to a tearful end
Not a moment to soon--we were out of sheckels to spend

Memories to last a lifetime were made

Even though it was 110 in the shade

A magical trip with every day being sunny

We are all going to miss the land of milk and honey.

A large family came from the states
To explore all that is old and is great

Into the tunnels they went

Up the Masada ascent

To learn about our Jewish traits.

The cousins got along great
As they traveled the Jewish state
They had their own strengths
And went to great lengths
To be the best of mates

Zach took notes on a pad
Dani's Hebrew was sometimes not bad
Matt threw stones with great aim
A taquita roll was Ariana's claim to fame
And Gabi's shopping made her glad

*****

Ariana obsessed over stripes
No one dared to try hooka pipes
We ate too much hummus and pita
Saw that the Israel grass is greener
This trip deserves lots of likes

The iPhones were taken
The girls were a shakin

Aunt Carolyn tried her best

But she couldn't pass the test

Now the girls have stopped quaken
